What are some features of it that I might now know about it?
I've never used anything made by Apple other than my iPod Video and iTunes. I recently had a problem with Windows XP deleting all the songs off my iPod even when I had the 'Manually Manage Files' selection enabled.

So I've used an iBook, my friend Gabriel owns one, and I'm getting a MacBook for next school year. I only use XP and I'm well acquainted with it's capabilities.

My question is, what does Mac have to offer and what might it have that I might not know about upon owning it and using it everyday. What are it's features?

I took a pic of myself on my phone, then emailed it to myself, then opened it on my computer. I have it all cropped up so it's less than 1.5 MB, and I want to upload it to a certain site, called okcupid.com. When I try to do so, I get this message:

Could not read image: /data/php/phpxNbaQc
Please back up and try again.


What's wrong? Is there any other way I can get my picture uploaded to the site? I know other people have uploaded pictures that were taken on their phone..?

I took a pic of myself on my cell phone, then sent it to my email. I've downloaded the picture to my computer, and it opens as a pretty darn big picture of me. The size of the file is about 3.5 MB, and I can't upload any picture larger than 1.5 MB to okcupid.com. Is there anything I can do--cropping, decreasing the size of the pic, saving it to a different program, etc.--to be able to upload the photo? Thanks for your help!!

Im using a nvidea gforce7300GS, on a MSI k9vgm-v AM2 socket with a AMD athlon 64 x2 and 1 gig of ram. I checked the ram, and it works, I am not overheating on my video card or processor. No virus'. "automatic restart" is unchecked...someone PLEASE HELP!!!

I cannot figure this out. I went into properties and tried to figure out a way to get rid of the color that appears behind the icons on the desktop. There is not a restore default button or anything. I have windows xp. This is a challenge, but anyone who can figure this out for me gets best answer and mad props. I hope this makes sense what I am asking. Everytime I change a desktop background (wallpaper) I have that stupid color behind the icons! Help!

When I single click my mouse it automatically double clicks. I've checked my settings in 'folder options' and it's on single click. Is there anything else I should be looking at to correct this problem.

I am trying to upload pictures to my web store, but when I click the link that should take me to the screen where I can choose the location of the pictures (on my hard drive) the screen is blank. I have done this on my work computer and not had this problem, so I am assuming it is something with my personal pc. Any ideas? The screen prior to my trying to choose new photos to add works fine and shows the list of pictures I had previously added. Hope this makes sense
