i am still running vista beta (build 5600) until i can afford to get the full version of vista ultimate,but will the beta versions get the dreamscene updates
if not then is there any other way to get "dreamscene"as it sounds quite interesting
i have been to ultimate extras every day and there are no updates avalible
i have vista dual booted with windows xp home sp2

It doesnt have to do with the hardrive because i just got a new one and there is like nothing on it.

My computer hard drive died. I don’t mean that it needs to be erased & reformatted. I’ve done that many times. This time it just died. How can I recover the information from the old hard drive after I but a new one?

ok we took our computer to this guy and he removed everything and fixed something and no we have it back and put everything back on it but everything is small i made my icons larger but like my internet window box or w/e is small the words are small and even my tooldbars are small how can i fix this??? i tried unlockin my toolbar clicking and dragging it but it only makes it too big...so how can i fix this???

I am high school senior and I want a very good "decent" priced laptop to go to college with. I was thinking of buying one from ebay since I've already bought a laptop before from ebay and it works very well. Also, what should I look for in a laptop? I mean like amount of memory, size of screen, processor type, processor speed, operating system, hard drive.... that kind of stuff. PLEASE HELP!!

I want to get a new router (125) to speed up my connection but dont know what speed my laptop card is. Laptop is new toshiba satellite dual core but i just cant find out what card it has. I have seen belkin 125 cards on ebay for 15 quid, are these easy to fit? Thanks

My computer has a C Drive, which I'm guessing is the main drive because everything automatically wants to download there. Anyways my C drive had barely any space (97 MB), and I have a D drive which I use for all of my stuff and it has like 65 GB left. I've noticed that web browsing has gotten slow and it is really annoying the hell out of me, but I cannot run C drive cleanup, well i can click to run it but it doesn't do anything even if I leave it open overnight, it just stay with three bars and says something along the lines of 'accessing how much space we can save' and it has three bars like it's already started before I clicked it.

This started happening a while back and with it came the inability to see the task manager with control alt delete...

What to do?

I've just been cleaning my pc up and moving pictures into files etc, but when i've just gone to look, all my pictures have vanished!

I clicked empty recycle bin when i'd finnished cleaning!

Is there any way I can get them back?

I have taken loads of pictures and some of the properties are wrong the main one being the date and I know what date it was taken but you cannot edit it using the properties window in XP so how can I edit the date taken propertie of my pictures?

I currently have an old Dell (Inspiron 3800) and their technical support is a nightmare. A new lap top is in my future. When something goes wrong I want to be able to get the kind of support that will fix the problem, not make it worse.
