I've just been cleaning my pc up and moving pictures into files etc, but when i've just gone to look, all my pictures have vanished!
I clicked empty recycle bin when i'd finnished cleaning!
Is there any way I can get them back?
Pleaaase help!!! *cries*

Are you sure youre looking in the right folder? There could be more than one "My Pictures" folder on your hard drive. If you can remember one of the pictures file names then hit your computer's start button and click search and choose all files and folders from the left and make sure that youre looking in both C and D drives when you type in the picture's file name in the text box. If the picture file name returns in the search results than that mean they are still there on your PC.

Go into my computer, choose "view system information" and then choose the tab system restore. It will allow you to go back to a date before you did this and restore what you had. You will have to do the cleanup again, but at least you will get your pictures back. I think the recycle bin has a restore as well. Try it.

if u can remember any of the picture names go to start and click search then type in the file names, if they still are not there then go onto yahoo type in recover deleted files, download a program and search that way. some you have to pay and there are some where u dont

Do not do anything else! Do not turn off your computer, don't scan your HD, do not download anything! Go to http://officerecovery.com/freeundelete/ If you can from another computer and put it on a disk if you have no other option do it with your computer, run the program and you should find them although you may lose some of them.

i did that once even when i restored my system to a date when the pics were on them i could see them there but i could not view them or restore them so i dont think you can get them back. next time put all the files that are important to you on a disk

Yes...search for "recover lost files"...i had really important data and i deleted it (i removed recycle bin so it just dissapears) and those recovering programs found it ;)

omg! uggghhhhhh, i know that happened to me too. you can search your picture files or take your hard drive/laptop to an expert. theyll find them if you didnt accidentally delete them

System restore? You can try to back it up to yesterday but if you deleted them they are gone.
