Video cds contain the video in .dat files.
On your system, .dat files are probably "interpreted" as such video files, and are associated with some media player.

In windows explorer go to Tools - > Folder options, there select the file types tab and find the entry for DAT.

You can either delete the entry or change the default behaviour / associated software.
