My computer has a C Drive, which I'm guessing is the main drive because everything automatically wants to download there. Anyways my C drive had barely any space (97 MB), and I have a D drive which I use for all of my stuff and it has like 65 GB left. I've noticed that web browsing has gotten slow and it is really annoying the hell out of me, but I cannot run C drive cleanup, well i can click to run it but it doesn't do anything even if I leave it open overnight, it just stay with three bars and says something along the lines of 'accessing how much space we can save' and it has three bars like it's already started before I clicked it.

This started happening a while back and with it came the inability to see the task manager with control alt delete...

What to do?

Run RegScrubXP weekly. Run Cleanup every time you log off.

Download RegScrubXP--http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?d...

Safely cleans junk out of the Windows 2000/XP system registry. All changes made to the registry are fully restorable to it's original condition. You can make an exclusion list of registry entries that RegScrubXP will not display as problems. You can sift through a list of file extensions, company names, run upon startup programs, Internet Explorer history, and uninstall programs to delete what you think is junk.

what i would do in a situation such as this is i would move as much as i can over to the larger drive , and then reformat the c drive reinstall windows , and when installing new programs i would put them on the larger drive . if saving files is not a issue , i would make the 65 gig the main HD and the lower i would slave and use for storage
