can i upgrade my pc with a uprade disc ( READ DETAILS)?

i have windows xp and my dad has windows vista and a disc that says upgrade your windows vista experience will it work?

If your dad has already installed Windows Vista on his machine, the chances are you cannot simply install it on yours. Microsoft expect you to purchase a copy for each machine you put it on.

you CAN'T upgrade your PC with a UPGRDE DISK! it can upgrade your Operation System (OS), offen UPGRADING PC means upgrading PC's HARDWARE, not software!
