It depends on what they are or if they are important to you. I have 10 drives and I copy important files from 1 drive to another so I have backups, in-case a drive fails. Find out what they are and delete them if you don't need them.

If you have more than 1 user on your copmuter, it may be their copy of an important file.

XP uses some duplicate files. Ccleaner is a registry cleaner that won't automatically delete them ,it will check to see if they're needed. Its idiot proof - I use it. Run the Issues tool, then the Cleaner, and let it back up the registry when it offers.

If they are duplicates of your work files, thats curious! I'd want to know where they came from.

It depends on what type of file it is. If it is a document that you created or downloaded, go ahead and delete the duplicate. If it is a file you don't know what it is, then leave it alone!

Don't delete them unless u know for certain what they are...I've made this mistake via my easycleaner...Some programs and the OS needs these duplicates in order to function.
