Open "My Computer"

Click the TOOLS option. Then "FOLDER OPTIONS"

Under the "GENERAL" tab, select "Single click to open an item".

in control panel--> under mouse icon--->buttons tab
on the first drop down box make sure it says click not double click good luck

You did not state what version of domicile windows you're working. So i'm working domicile windows 7 and that i'll grant you the respond as ultimate i can with the perception that it particularly is Win 7 you're using. ok?! click on start up and bypass to "pc". on the better left hand part below the left arrow is "cope with", click it. bypass to "Folder and seek innovations". in the "general" tab (the 1st one shown) in the 2d section down is "click products as Follows", elect the final selection "Double click to open and merchandise (single click to elect it)" desire that facilitates.
