When I single click my mouse it automatically double clicks. I've checked my settings in 'folder options' and it's on single click. Is there anything else I should be looking at to correct this problem.

If you have checked all of the settings, I think you should be looking for a new mouse. Borrow 1 from a friend and see if you do need one.

try another mouse. also try your mouse on another computer to make sure that the problem is your mouse. it might be time for a new one.

It sounds like its the mouse itself, maybe something inside it is broken.
