Well in my old school we use to send msg using Command prompt in our local area network... and some time even files to... so we can send work and pictures to each other,,,, i kinda forgot how to do it now.. i would like to know it again.... plz help me........

you probably cant any more the program- messenger (not ms messenger) is blocked bydefault in xpsp2

you had access to your command prompt at school? that stuff is usually blocked to students, and sometimes even staff.

ex.
net send 192.168.1.122 i'm a superstar.....
i don't think it works with XP computers that have SP2 installed....
