So im pretty sure i have a virus-I have Verizon INternet Security Suite and that seems ok but now i get all tehse pop ups saying tht i may be infected and chick here to get rid of them and stuff
But i dont want to click on thm for fear of contracting another virus
these pop ups-pop up when im not even on a website

I am computer novice. I believe this problem has to do with a conflict between Javascript and Microsoft, Acrobat Reader, etc. I saw somewhere we have until December 31, 2007 to resolve but I'm getting a Add On problem now and can't even get tax documents printed. I have the free trial of Registry Mechanic and when I did a full system scan it found almost 300 problems! It could only fix about 20 on the trial version but if I register, [[buy the program for like $20, $25 i think...]] then I can fix the problems?? Is this worth buying??

I am reinstalling due to many many crashes due to IRQ problems (mismatches) after recieving some of these messages on a blue stop error screen - DRIVER_IRQL_LESS_THAN, IRQ_LESS_EQUAL_THAN and PAGE_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA.

The program memtest shows problems with my memory and so i need to know what do i need to uninstall (drivers, programmes eg Nero Burning Rom) before i reinstall Windows?

I have Windows XP Home Ed.

Then i have heard that i need to reassign IRQ's to each device individually to get rid of the mismatches. What do i need to go into and what do i need to do to assign these IRQs?

Please help as much as you can guys and gals
