find missing files for computer?

is there a way of finding out if there are any files missing from my laptop, and if there ar where i can download them from?, same with games.

try going in my documents- click on search- at the side click on all files and folders- in the box type part of file name ( a couple of letters will do ) and then in the box named look in scroll down and click on my computer . good luck
