in orkut, how do you become a 'fan' of somebody?

Check ur profile...
Click Friends Tab...
choose the friend to whom u wish to become a fan
click the star symbol corresponding to it...

send a request. They will pass it to the concerned person, if he accepts, you will be intimated.
