I'm about to get a MacBook..?

What are some features of it that I might now know about it?
I've never used anything made by Apple other than my iPod Video and iTunes. I recently had a problem with Windows XP deleting all the songs off my iPod even when I had the 'Manually Manage Files' selection enabled.

So I've used an iBook, my friend Gabriel owns one, and I'm getting a MacBook for next school year. I only use XP and I'm well acquainted with it's capabilities.

My question is, what does Mac have to offer and what might it have that I might not know about upon owning it and using it everyday. What are it's features?

This is a great question, but unfortunately no1 has answered it. Ive had similar questions, since I dont know too much Im not going to give u the best answer, but if you search for questions like yours you'll find a ton of info on Yahoo Answers.

Macs dont get viruses or crash or anything. So you dont have 2 spend the time and money and space for antivirus....this is the biggest plus for me.

Macs can run windows now if u absolutely need 2 run a Windows application

With the intel processors there is now a lot of software out for mac, and Mac software is usually better than its Windows counterpart.

I believe the new Macbooks, due out sometime befores summer I think, offer some kind of time machine thing. Im not sure exacrly how it works but it lest u go back in time if you deleted a file.

Macbooks have built in webcam and wireless

Mac isnt that great for games

Mac is great at design, music, art, video production, etc

I think Mac has system wide spell check or something. A dictionary that can be used in any application
