i want to put files in a folder on my desktop on my PC,then i want to connectt to it with cell ,to be able to download mpeg,and mp3 files,I also need to know how to configure cell,I know to start with HTTP then im not sure if its the server IP or client IP or anything else that follows,i had a friend do it but he has moved ,im a pcdolt so i will need elementary instructions

Well I am not sure what you are attempting with your phone sorry.
Your webserver should be at http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (the server IP) if you want a particular directory add /directoryname
if you want a file add /myfilename.html etc.

To set up Apache for HTTP I suggest that you read the Apache website. They have a great manual on there.
As for the GPRS, not sure what you want to do there.
