I am looking for a Graphics card with a TV Tuner, and I am wondering if it would perform better with a Good "Just Graphics" card and a Hauppauge PCI TV Tuner or an AIW Card either x1900 or other? I only want to spend $200 at the most, but I want 256MB at least.
My computer specs:
Athlon X2 4200+
2 GB PC3200
PCI-e 16x Slot
250GB SATA2
Running Vista Home Premium.
I prefer ATI cards. I use my computer for Music, TV, and Video more than Gaming.
Thanks in Advance.

Ok. So I just built a computer (specs below) running windows vista ultimate 32 bit. All has seemed well for my build until recently, when my computer started to "freeze"/hang. I wouldn't call it a crash because the screen freezes at random moments. At any rate, I have had a fear that my power supply is poor quality and that it is causing all my problems. However, at the same time, my videocard has an idle temperature of about 57 degrees celsius which concerns me because that is HOT. I have narrowed down the parts of my machine that could be causing these problems to the videocard, psu, and motherboard. I suppose it could also be a result of using Vista (YaY! Microsoft!).

Specs:
EVGA 680i A1 mobo
Intel Q6600 quad core
Asus 8800 gts
Hiper 580 watt psu
2gb 1066mhz corsair memory
Thermaltake Tsunami Case
74gb WD 10000 rpm drive (sata)
400gb Seagate 7200 rpm drive (sata)

Hello, my CD Rom drive is no longer working, and I would like to back up all my files before taking the computer in. Is there a way to do this without the CD drive? It is about 20GB.

Ok, let's say I want to burn a dvd, on my single core processor takes me 45 mins, What may be the difference frame it takes when you have a dual core processor that runs at 2.66 GHz, 1066 front side bus and about a 4 MB L cache.
You know, I kind of want to upgrade my Dell 4700 series by swapping the motherboard, processor, RAM, and power supply. I want to keep all the remaining devices.
So is there anyone who can sort of predict the difference when it comes to burning with dual core?
Thank you guys.
Josh.

i bought a game and the only minimum requirement that has not been achieved is this:

Video Card
Minimum: 64 MB Direct3D DirectX 9.0 compliant video card supporting pixel shader 2.0 (NVIDIA GeForce FX+ / ATI Radeon 9500+)

You Have: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series (ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series (0x5975))

this is the ONLY problem I have and i don’t know how to solve it... what should i do next?
