I would go with the ATI if it is the only graphics adapter in the system. G-Force can be a challenge sometimes and I have seen many issues with the G-Force products. Although all the issues were solvable, why bother, ATI is reliable and will do what they advertise. I will agree that the G-Force may give you more performance for your buck, but I like do-it-once and forget it hardware.

PS. I run both ATI and G-Force on the same system and guess which one I never have to mess with, and which one wants me to babysit it sometimes...?

X300 is better than the older FX series. But if you really want something better, move up to the 7300GT at least.

Ok those cards are out dated

If u want ATI get the x1950 pro very good n cheap

If u want nvidia get the geforce 8600gt/gts very good n cheap

depends on what one. 5500 or less go with ati
anything else geforce
