if you want to waste your money then buy a MAC. Too expensive for what they offer.

I would never buy a Mac because:
1) Too expensive
2) Proprietary hardware, which makes it more expensive to upgrade!
3) Too little software available compare to PC's
4) Major technologies usually are available to PC's first (greater audience)
5) Since there are more people working with Windows & Linux you get more people to support your questions.

At the end, this is my point of view only and you should decide what to get base on the use of the machine.

- For professional Video, Photos, & Music = Mac
All other = PC

If you play music and like to play games and to be able to buy any program from any where you want, buy a PC. If you are going to make music or do a TV show and are under 12 buy a MAC. The reason so many school have mac's are they are easy to use, but lack any real power and so many of the best programs out there will not or do not work with a mac....Best bet.... buy a PC..

If your budget is no issue, I'd say buy a Mac, but if your must be careful of how much you're going to spend, I'd strongly advise you to look at PC's only.
