your computer is REALLY out of date. i wouldnt suggest upgrading one component. i would upgrade motherboard, ram, and get a middle of the road graphics card. you could build a very good budget amd system right now. amd prices are low and they have good cpus for cheap. not as fast as core 2 duo but great deals.

If you really want to upgrade your comp and you only have Rs.3000 , and you want to play the games, i suggest to first upgrade your sd ram, This how i have started too, and today i have pentium 4 processor, FX graphic card 128 mb, 1 gb ram, 120 gb hard-disk, etc...

You should go with what Zach and Yoi said, they're the closest to the best answer for your system...
otherwise consult a local PC dealer/repair shop to get an expert opinion on what to upgrade for your particular motherboard and components for your price range or if you should just hold out till you can afford either a new board and set up or an entirely new system...

Afford a P3 1000 Mhz CPU and 512 MB SDRAM, and a Geforce-2 Video Card.
They are all compatible with your motherboard.

If you are running Windows XP, I suggest starting with your RAM, make it as LEAST 256MB, preferrably 512MB. You should also upgrade your processor...if it's a Socket 370, you can go up to 850Mhz, if it's Slot 1 you can go up to 700Mhz.
