I intermittently hear music and chinese talking like on radio coming through the speakers at a low level but audible. The speakers are connected to the bass box which is in turn plugged into the Audigy sound card. surely the speakers cannot act as a receptor for foreign radio without the PC being on? and even if it was on, why would i hear it? I have creative speakers and an audigy 4 sound card. i have an ASUS wireless card and i connect to my mates wireless router through this.

I custom building my first and I want to build around a E6600. I've selected the ASUS P5W DH DEULUXE w/ WiFi. But I've heard and read about alot of problems with the POSTing. Is this a good choice still or what do you guys suggest? I want a Mobo that is currently top of the line and that will permit me to upgrade later to maybe a Quad but also decently priced.

i have been having problems with booting up from it not turning on to the power switch not even responding and sometines it tries to come on and just starts beeping i have unplugged and plugged in everything sometime it will come on and want me to re installwindow but acts like the cd is not in the drive i have also switched cd drives to no avail and i am on it right now by some meracle can some one please help p.s. when it came on this time it said hard drive error press f1 to continue and it booted up

Is the amount of ram bottlenecked the most by the bus, the board, the space confines, or the operating system?

I was playing some FPS games it seem very laggy i mean very very laggy. So i restart the computer and when it opens and error came saying CPU Fan failed will restart in a few secs to prevent damage to the computer. It keeps poping like that everytime i open it. I let it cool for like the whole night i didn't touch it when i woke up i try agian it still has the error screen. Someone please tell me how to fix this, i bought this pc in the summer so it's around 2-4 months old and it happens i bought this at bestbuy. I don't know the specs but i will try to find it tomrrw i have the ELA exam so i gtg sleep answer please! i don't wanna be beaten by my mom =(.

Hi, my mom has a wusb300n, and gets a speed test of 11000kpbs on an internet speed test on her laptop. I get 5000kbps on my desktop pc with the wusb54g (v.4). What Should I get to improve my speed? Ive been looking at the wusb300n and the wmp300n. is one faster? personally what are your opinions. thanks alot! -George. also, I have a really good computer, so dont worry about weather my comp can handle it or not (xp pro, dual procesor, 2gb ram......) and yes, we do have a wireless N router. thanks again -George

1024MB Ram DDR266 PC2100 Xerox
X1650 Pro 256 AGP 8x

BF2 FPS is 15-34, mostly under 25... I was wondering if i buy more RAM ( 2GB 4x512mb OCZ Value DDR400 PC3200) from a friend, will i have a HUGE boost or None cause of my CPU???

I have Windows XP. The internal CD-RW drive has worked fine for years, but all of a sudden the computer stopped recognizing the drive
letter, and the said drive no longer appears on the My Computer screen. I have no idea what caused this--the problem started right after I restarted the computer once after installing software. Please advise.

Recently, my motherboard crashed without any replacement available. I would like to know if my Windows CD OEM is now useless. Based on what I understand, a hardware profile is created and registered with Microsoft.Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think it's the hard drive, motherboard, and video card. If my motherboard fails, can i buy the same mobo without having to buy another copy of Windows? Do I need to contact microsoft directly?

I have used 3 types of burning software and they all burn successfully but everytime I play them on my DVD they image break, can somebody help? I fist used the decrypter and then burn them. Is there any software that will help me. Thank you.
