my pc is showing that there is no audio hardware installed and now i get no sound, cant play music or anything involving sound, the only noise that i hear at anytime is a beep when shutting windows down, i think the sound software / hardware has been deleted or unistalled, how do i fix this?

the problem is, my usb device is not working properly. every time i plug a device in the usb prot, it detects the device but the problem is that i cant access it... the usb drive is nowhere in the my computers window... i dont know how to access the device... plz help me out if u can...

Does the Linksys wireless router WRT54GS (speedbooster) offer any substantial difference in browsing speed over WRT54G ? I read the following review on amazon, is it correct : "The only difference between the WRT54G and the WRT54GS is the flash and Ram memory. I have bought an optical mouse to replace a ball one. The optical mouse has only one fitting to insert into box which i sqauare (hope you know what I mean) My old mouse has a green round fitting. I have separate a purple fitting which I have put on end of otical mouse but still does not work and has to be inserted elsewhere. I want the same fitting as my old ball mouse, can you please advise if I can purchase a separate part which is green, if so what is it called please. Thank you very much

before the BIOS screen it is shown as 128MB. Earlier with the drivers i got with my card, it showed the RAM as 256 MB. However when i installed the 91.47 forceware drivers, in dxdiag the amt of video memeory shown is 512MB. How do i check the actual physical memory? (dedicated VRAM,not shared)

Sometimes on startup the hard drive isnt recognized. All the connections are good. Sometimes the computer will completly freeze up and when I try to do anything but shut it off it will beep. I lost all the contents to one hard drive already due to the problem. I know I need to have it taken to the local shop and looked at but just wondering what it could be.

My PC keeps telling me that it requires more virtual memory and is increasing the size of the file. If I increase the amount of RAM in the machine, will this reduce the amount of virtual memory required and therefore stop the file size increase?
