when I connect the USB2.0 External Box with 2.5 External HDD it gives {Generic USB Disk USB Device} & {This device is working properly.} this message but still i cant see those 2 drives wich i created in that HDD {sometimes when i connect the Ext. HDD it gives me the Message that (this device not recognised) (One of the USB device attached to this Computer has MALFUNCTIONED and Windows does not Recognise it)}. I am using XP sp2 as OS. i Have my imp. data in it plz help. "My Other USB devises are working very well and USB port is also in Good condition.

I'm purchasing a web server for our company, and need to decide between dual ranked DIMMs memory or single ranked DIMMs memory. Other than freeing up more slots by using the dual ranked memory, are there any other performance ramifications when deciding between the two options? Here are the choices I'm deciding between, what is the best choice?

4GB 533MHz (4x1GB), Dual Ranked DIMMs

or...

4GB 533MHz (8x512MB), Single Ranked DIMMs

The single ranked DIMMs are actually a couple hundred dollars more expensive, and will use up all available memory slots. I'm leaning toward the dual ranked memory.

I am purchasing a web application server for our company. There are two processors I am trying to decide on:

Dual Core Intel® Xeon® 5050, 2x2MB Cache, 3.00GHz, 667MHz FSB

or....

Dual Core Intel® Xeon® 5130, 4MB Cache, 2.00GHz, 1333MHz FSB

The Xeon 5130 is a newer model, with higher FSB speed (1333MHz) than the 5050 Xeon, but the 5050 has a higher overall clock speed, 3Ghz.

Which is better? The 5130 model will cost about $245 more, but doesn't the faster clock speed on the 5050 mean it's faster?

When I save the media files to my blackberry, they do not play. Some message comes up about not being able to read the file. Do I need to convert the files before I transfer them or do I need a special software to do it?
