I can't decide what’s the best VGA card for the new generation PC Games...

both are a waste to buy right now. wait until they release the video cards for directx 10. The video cards that come out after directx 10 will blow these out of the water. I honestly believe the performance difference between the 2 cards is barely noticeable. Although I will tell you that ATI has better quality in the images in games. The geforce is slightly faster in games but my radeon x1900xtx has no problems doing anything. If you buy either of them, you will be happy to run any game at full graphics

The X1950XTX has a slight edge on the 7950GX2. However if by next generation games you mean the new DirectX10 games, neither of these cards are good as neither will support DirectX10. I suggest you wait, the DirectX10 cards are coming out in a couple of weeks.

If those 2 are your only option I say go with the Geforce 7950GX2, but 2 Geforce 7900GTX in SLI will beat both those cards. SLI's the best right now. Other wise the Geforce 7950 looks tempting =D

Geforce all the way!!!! currently using a 7800 gs oc myself, wouldnt trade that for any ATI product!
