Ive have been trying to play a game called spellforce 2 but it keeps freezing up on me. The error message I am recieving is "vpu recover has reset your graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands." From what I have found on the internet that most likely means my vid card is overheating. I have checked the temps and my GPU temp is usually around 35cel. (95f) and when i start the game up its gets up to around 115 to 120 farenhiet, thats usually when my game freezes. Sometimes even around 111 it freezes. Are those normal temps? Is it overheating? And if so what do I do to fix the problem. My card is a Radeon 9600 128.0 MB. Its what is recommended on the box. HELP! Oh, and I have a fan on motherboard, fan on side of comp, fan on top of comp and fan on vid card.

I have several old tapes that I want to burn onto cds and I need to do so before they break. Does anyone have any idea of a player that will do that and where can I find it at? Or does anybody know of any place that does that? Or even any suggestions!!! I have an old computer....but to old to hook up cassette player to it!

Hello, I have a Compaq Desktop CPU. It's about 3 years old now. I recently put in a brand new ATI Radeon video card into it. I had it professionally installed and now, everytime I run the computer, it restarts or the monitor will cut off. I purchased a new Monitor about a month ago. Its brand new, so there should'nt be any problems with it. Any ideas about what could be wrong with it? I've been told it may be overheating, and that the power supply isn't enough or it's broken. I'm at lost of what to do with it now. Can anyone help me out with this?

I have noticed lately that my computer has been processing data slowly. I installed and uninstalled many software applications and transferred a large volume of data to and from my hard disk during the past few days. this is the second time my computer has been restored.I ran a system restore a couple of months ago,wich idid a roll back.My husband just preformed a restore using a defalt.I am not sure what that exactly means.I hope that he did not loose all my important files and pictures that are irreplaceable.Can you please help me?

Human error... my error caused the malfunction. I fear i may have permanently damaged it beyond repair.

The problem is: when i insert the flash drive, it is detected by the computer, so i have to use the safe means of removing the device.

However, if i wish to access files on the flash drive, the coputer says insert disk in e:\. It's there. It's as if in one way the computer knows it is there, but it is effectively invisible if i wish to access files.

How did it happen? I inserted the flash drive in a pc, the pc said it could not read it, so could i use c:\ something, dll, i think, to read it. since then... problem!

I have 512 Mb of RAM memory! I would like to upgrade it with another card of 512Mb (together it will be 1Gb - for games, everybody told me that I should do that) but I don't know will every memory card (DDR,DDR2, 533MHz) work on my computer? On SiSoftware Sandra says "Total memory: 512Mb DDR-SDRAM?" Help anyone?

What should i put in the third slot?
Should i buy 1Gb card, or 512Gb cause i do not have much of a choice! Please i am soo desperate!

I have 2 PCs, there are a problems of them both:
First one: when i turn on the PC the monitor giving me flash light without viewing any thing, while the Case is working.

Second one: When i turn the computer on, it viewing but it making Checking system then becoming frozen, i tried to Format it i couldn't, i tried to delete the partions to one partition i couldn't , giving me 0 BUS and 0 ~~~ Etc>

Please Help me !!!!
