You would need to have a TV capture card installed in your computer. They come in both internal (for desktop) or USB (for laptops). Once installed, you run a couple cables (usually come with the card) from the TV to your PC. It will also come with the software do to the recording. Start at about $100 for a cheap card and go up from there. Not all the cheap one allow "timed" recordings, so you may have to be there to actually press "record" in order to get a show.

Check the requirements from using the card to be sure your PC is able. Requires a recent, medium or higher quality PC to do it.

Also, recorded files like that are HUGE in size, so you will need to be sure you have lots and lots and lots of free hard drive space to record the shows. You will probably only be able to get a couple shows on your PC at a time. You will have to delete (or burn to DVD and delete) each show before you can record the next.

(It is usually easier and cheaper to just buy a VCR then to set up a PC for video recording. Or to go with TIVO or another Digital recorder.)
