Well quite simply, internal storage devices are internal (inside the computer) and external are external (outside the computer).

An internal storage device is used inside the actual computer, it can be removed and put in another computer but is not meant to be.
External storage devices are things like USB flash drives and external hard drives. They are meant to be an extra hard drive that can be connected to different computers and such.

internal is in the inside of ur tower(the hard drive)
the external would be out side the tower and plugged in to the tower.
both are good but for the people that know very little and like the do it ur self stuff.the external is the way to go.

internal storage --- that is your hard drive that was put inside in your CPU while external storage the hard drive that was put outside.

you can upload your files to your email address, if you have many email address you can up load your files to all of them and they will be on there all the time but its not a safe thing to do coz if you forget your password you lost all the files so the best thing to do is have a dvd/cd .rewrite .drive then buy a pack of 50 ,dvd(r) & dvd(rw) & cd(r) & cd(rw) , cds, then back ur files on to the blank cd's
