Which of these external storage devices is the EASIEST to use to store images? Cd Burner, Flash Card, Flash Drive, Memory Stick, Optical Drive, Zen Player, Zip Drive. Please just tell me which is the most simple, in easy to understand terms. I'm horrible at the computer. Thanks

hello. i own a matrox xt100 card, but i need to get prof. video from a pal dvcpro player. now i'm looking for a components to firewire converter (and maybe back). i found a system for mac but i need it for a premiere pro 1.5 PC. do you know where to get such a box?

The cdrw drive I have stopped working. I removed the drive and picked one up at Best Buy. Do I plug it in the way the other one was? The instructions say I won't have to install drivers but it says if I need them go to www.

Also I see slave, master..... in the instructions. What are these? I need this drive desperatly. I may buy a new PC if I can't install. Please Help!!!

It uses a non standard 3" drive and I would like to fit a standard one as a back up to transfer all my data. I Like my PCW8256 much better than my PC for word processing

when i type numbers on my keyboard they keep showing up differently or making the pc bring up the internet explorer help page, the computer also started bleeping last night, i have done a virus scan and nothing has come up. i will type the numbers below so you can see how they are coming up


`1 = one
two brings up the internet explorer help page :S
3 = three
54 = four
5 = five
6 = six
67 = seven
=8 = eight
9 = nine
`1-0 = ten
-0 = zero
what the hell is going on?

Everything is getting more added to it. Dual , quad core processors and video cards. I know a lot about computers and how things work but have they tried to make a Dual Read and Wright Head Hard Drive.

You know the thing that goes back and forward up to 50 times a second in a hard drive. Adding two should increase the performance somehow I would imaging?

But then again besides the stats of the hard drive and hooking them up and so forth I do not know exactly how they work 100%

Maybe one read and Wright head is already more good enough as it is already.

I have a black keyboard with white lettering. Some of the "white" is wearing off on some keys and completely gone on two of them. Any suggestions as to what I can use to write the letters back on and secondly, how to prevent further wear?

I am supposed to build a system for my aunt next week, but there is one thing which I do not about. The processor. I read the Core 2 Duo series is meant more for the heavy gamers, and given that she isn't exactly a gamer I do not know whether to get a Core 2 Duo 6300 ($190) or the 6600($330). The 6600 has twice as much cache, so if i wanted it for gaming it would be the better choice. However, my aunt wont be doing much FPS gaming lol. At most she will do some Photoshop, so should i go with the 6300? or perhaps bumb it up to the 6400 cuz its still only $230.
Any of you guys have an answer?
(p.s.i have a pretty huge budget so i dont have to get the cheapest stuff)

I'm trying to get the sound from the speakers to work, but it's not working. When I try to play videos, its just silent. I tried turning up the volume on the computer but it won't let me.
