Hmm... to reboot you either select Restart from your Start menu, press your laptops Reset button, or hold down the power button for a few seconds.

If you mean reformat, you'll need a WinXP installation CD. Go into your laptops BIOS (often by pressing DEL during boot) and set it to boot from CD. Insert your WinXP CD and restart. Hit a key to boot from CD when prompted. When the setup program loads, simply follow the onscreen instructions.

Make sure you have drivers for all your hardware before formatting. If you dont have CDs, you can usually download the drivers from the website of your laptop manufacturer, and copy them to CD.

thst very simple.plug off ur pc & then plug in again.
