I have a black keyboard with white lettering. Some of the "white" is wearing off on some keys and completely gone on two of them. Any suggestions as to what I can use to write the letters back on and secondly, how to prevent further wear?

Not replacing keyboard. It's not so cheap. Have one of the ones with about 15 extra functions.

I like the sharpie and nail polish answers. I'm putting it to a vote.

I had this problem at work on a calculator. I used a Sharpie, re-wrote the numbers and then covered the keys with small squares of tape.
The keys you use the most are the quickest to wear.

Good luck finding ANYTHING to write letters back on there.... could possibly replace the keys if you found a similar keyboard that was junk... to stop furtur damamge you can get a clear plastic cover for the keyboards and most computer sales places, or even Wal Mart.
