It's tough to say as they all serve different foods.
The Fat Duck in Bray (Heston Blumenthal) is renowned for it's inventive menus and has been voded BEST IN THE WORLD.
The Waterside Inn also in Bray (Michael Roux) has 3 michelin stars
Le Gavroche (another of the Roux family) is reputed to serve the best french food
there are also places like the Manoir Aux Quatre Saison (Oxford), L' Ortolan (Wokingham), Nobu (London), Gordon Ramsay (London), the Ivy (London)
All have their supporters and all have their detractors.
