the LCD screen broke, and i ordered a new one. but i do not know how to replace it after i have taken out all the screws on the screen. Does anyone know how to open the broken screen to replace it with the new one?

I have a 2000 HP notebook and the computer is a piece of ****. I am pretty sure that the computer was broke when I bought it so it has had its ups and downs. My question to you is that I am unable to even open the internet explorer window. When I try this tiny thing flashed on my screen and the window closes. I have even downloaded MSN from a disk and still no help. So if you could please help that would be amazing.

I noticed some clearance laptops on bestbuy.ca but a number of them were cheaper if they were labeled as "French". I presume this means that they have a French OS but does this mean they would be unusable to someone who doesn’t speak any French (such as myself)?

I don't know wether I'm just being thick, but in the manual it says I have bluetooth, I also have a bluetooth button, but when I press it it tells me 'No bluetooth device'...does this mean I don't have it?...or I'm missing drivers? Also, does the fact I'm running on Vista make a difference?

I just purchased a new HP Pavilion Laptop. However, the fan turns itself on quite often and each time it does, a high pitched sound can be heard. I know that the sound is coming from the fan, but is there anyway to remove the sound? Do I have to get it fixed? Thanks.

i have a compaq M 2000 laptop. i already installed the software for reading mmc,sd cards etc. but when i insert a Sandisk SD card into the slot, the laptop freezes and as soon as i take the card out , it starts functioning again. so what's the problem and how should i get the laptop to read the card? the SD card was provided with a digital camera? is a softwsre update the solution?

I've read various things on the Internet. Some say to use a converter, some say don't. And I cannot find anything on the Dell site that answers the question.

Have you done this? If so, what is the safest, easiest way?

I have a very old laptop from 1998 that I wanted to use to take advantage of free wireless Internet. I walked around with in on city streets and it hurt my back because it was too heavy.
