I don't know wether I'm just being thick, but in the manual it says I have bluetooth, I also have a bluetooth button, but when I press it it tells me 'No bluetooth device'...does this mean I don't have it?...or I'm missing drivers? Also, does the fact I'm running on Vista make a difference?

no * in the manual, and I shouldn't need an external device if it's built in should I?

Could it be device drivers? looking on the ACER website I saw bluetooth drivers but they were for XP, no vista to be seen!

Normally it has, but i see in alot of forums that people say that bluetooth doesn't work.. May be you should download driver from the acer site.. If it doesn't work then, you should buy a bluetooth stick ;] Greetz

When I used bluetooth some time ago i had to switch it on. Have you done this. I think through a computer you click on the bluetooth icon and go to settings or properties and then there will be an option thing for ON OFF and your photoes will end up in the INBOX

Really sorry but all these sound like excuses, only coming because no one has an answer.

The guy is right, the model does have Bluetooth on it, and when he flicks the switch nothing happens, this is a config error, its not a simple as "its not there"

I'll fund out the answer and get back on this one, i guess its a service not working or missing software.

if it says no device, means there is no bluetooth hardware, since on the manual it problem has a * means there is something on the bottom of the page, saying only available in certain models.

the fact that you are running vista makes no difference. no "bluetooth divece found" means you need another diviece to use the bluethoot with like a mobile phone or another computer.

I have just received the same laptop and am suffering the exact same problem. I shall check back here in case a solution appears and keep searching for one myself!
