i want to change my background desktop on my new laptop computer. it is a hp. it has the new windows vista.. i want to change the desktop to a picture i found on google... how can i change it
???

right click the image u want and click set as background.

Unless microsoft has changed the way you select your desktop image in vista (which wouldn't surprise me), just right click on the desktop, and select 'properties'. Switch to 'desktop' and browse to the image you want. (Download the one from google first if you want to use it). You might have to tweak some other options to make it fit correctly and look right.

If this doesn't work then it's probably because Vista is a piece of crap.

Why would you want to change your background desktop image? That requires a lot of storage space which you will probably want for more important things in the future.

If you've saved the picture already......

Click on empty area of Desktop, Right Click, then Click on Properties, then Click on Destop and Browse to where you saved the photo.
