Apple MacBook Pro

Apple macbook pro. Fastest, most powerfull graphically, most versatile, and most stable OS. You can also run XP or vista on it if you need to. They are the slimest, best looking, most reliable, did I mention fastest?

They are pricy, but they cost the same as a comperably equipped dell. so they are not really expensive.

Plus with it, you get the install CD's. Unlike with a PC, where if you accidently kill windows (I have) you are screwed.

Buy the macbook pro, if you can afford it (1999-3000), it is the best all around.

It really depends on what you intend on using it for. If great video is what you seek, Apple. If you work at enterprise level, I would say Dell or Gateway.

If you are gonna type papers and surf the net only, Sony, Acer, Toshiba, HP, IBM, etc...

It all depends on your needs.
