Contact your ISP ( by phone)

They will give you free support to make their Internet service work for you in minutes rather than doing several Qs & As here which may not even be addressing the correct issue.

you need to call your ISP and tell them you got a new modem. They will ask for your new MAC adress of the modem then it will work.

The internet you pay for only works with one modem, the one you have registered with them. This makes it virtually impossible for people to steal internet access.

But people and their unsecured wireless networks are making it all too easy, I can get High speed internet from 5 different people in my neighborhood. lol
