Well I use:
↓ Damp toilet roll with the keyboard upside down (to prevent water getting into the circuits), the keyboard should also be unplugged.
↓ Cotton buds for the spaces
↓ Air pressured can for cleaning under the keys.

To clean under the keys i usually take each key of one by one and use a damp cotton bud.You need to have lots of patience and nimble fingers as it is fiddely.
Dont do what my sister did and took all the keys of at once and forgot where they went.

Shake keyboard upside down!
Get one of them air cans, they freeze up as you use it. A freeze burn for your hand!

i would have to say that you need to undo your keyboard so that when you use compressed air or CO2 to blow it out that so it will shoot off the computer and not inside it
