I have a 2000 HP notebook and the computer is a piece of ****. I am pretty sure that the computer was broke when I bought it so it has had its ups and downs. My question to you is that I am unable to even open the internet explorer window. When I try this tiny thing flashed on my screen and the window closes. I have even downloaded MSN from a disk and still no help. So if you could please help that would be amazing.

when something like that happens it's ususally viruses or spywares. MSN explorer will not work because its the same thing as internet explorer just looks different, try downloading Mozilla firefox on another computer then install it on yours, its a different web browser (works alot better). if you install it and it works fine i'd recommend you get and anti-spyware software like spy-sweeper or counterspy. (you can download a free trial version of counterspy at www.download.com and then run it and check your system for spywares)
