Or do I have to buy a Mac laptop and keep that and the PC. I really want a Mac, but they're sooooooooooooo expensive, plus I already have a PC laptop that's relatively new. (I just got it in the summer, around August.)

I went to a Hypermarket to see and i found LG, HP, acer and DELL
there was a man told me that LG is very good.
My aunt says toshiba and Asus are the best (she has an extra asus laptop and want me to buy it)

Okay, I know these discs work because I've used them on my wife's laptop. The model of DVD RW I'm working with on my system is a H-L GSA-T10 and can read and write all formats of discs, including double layer. When I put in a real disc or one I've copied previously from her computer, it reads it and recognizes it just fine, but when I put a blank one in, Windows XP recognizes it as a blank CD, not a blank DVD. The DVD is a Verbatim DVD+R. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

i have a compaq presario v2000 which came with a partitioned hdd, of about 7.5gb and 6.8gb are used upon start up for recovery, problem is certain app. wont run because my hdd reads as 85% full,i have an 80gb ext. hdd but it's not considered. and i've not been terribly successfull at resizing the partitioned area, fragged everything insight with all three attempts. but i'm learning fast "crash course" if you will.

I do regular maintenance with disc clean up and defrag.. There is only on other user on the main comp. But it often happens even when the other comp is not on. Is there anything I can buy to boost the speed, as I keep getting cut off.
