Or do I have to buy a Mac laptop and keep that and the PC. I really want a Mac, but they're sooooooooooooo expensive, plus I already have a PC laptop that's relatively new. (I just got it in the summer, around August.)

Sell the laptop on ebay, or through cragslist. Then once you have the money in your paypal account, or in your checking or something - just go to the apple online store, purchase a laptop paying what you can and having them finance the rest. Or just buy it outright.

Macs come equipped with more features than your average laptop... Built-in camera, built-in wifi and bluetooth, bundled software (not trialware) etc...

If you configure a truly comparable PC laptop, it'll cost the same. Regardless, Apple's not going to take a used PC in for trade. Nor would any other company. You'll need to sell your PC if you're short on money, or just buy the Mac in addition to the one you have (if you can afford it).

You might be able to find someone who will trade.

Or you might want to get a Mac mini. It's a lot cheaper than a laptop.
