at the back of Bugis highway, interior the main street there's a around construction, and all that it sells is desktops, so which you will no longer have any issues getting a working laptop or computing device there. yet another place is Mustafas in Little India. To get there in basic terms tell the taxi driving force Mustafas, and he would be attentive to the place you % to flow. Singapore isn't as much less high priced because it use to be, in fact you could locate the fees somewhat extra high priced than what you pay interior the western international places. you will get a bus to KL in Malaysia, which takes 5 hours, and each thing is significantly extra low-fee there.

Some places to try:
Best Denki
Courts
Harvey Norman
Gain City

Price would depend on the features and brand (to a certain extent). Ranges from S$1500 - $4000

You should try some of the better known shops like Best Denki (is that how you spell it?) or... you can always try Funan the IT mall...

And regarding the price range, it really depends of the brand. I'd suggest you got to their sites. They usually state the price.

You can get the best deals at Sim Lim Square or Funan IT Mall. However you must know your stuff in order not to be flecced by the shop keepers.
