Battery life hasn't been all that great ever since I fell asleep and inadvertently let it over charge.
It's a macbook
Is there a portable battery extender (like they have for ipods and cell phones) that I can buy instead of spending $129.00 on a spare battery?
I need it for college, so it has to be something...

I have an HP Pavillion N5451 849MHz with 128MB RAM. Is it possible for me to get extra RAM for this machine and how much would it cost for me to upgrade (prices in Pound Sterling preferably please)? Thanks a lot.

i will be using yahoo chat alot, and photo editing. webcam ofcourse. storage of my digital photographs. i will be traveling to asia at least once a year. i play games occasionally like the sims, simcity4(currently ican't play it or the sims 2 cause my pc is too old) civ 4. i currently have dsl through bellsouth its ok for me and i don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. i've got the second level up of the dsl. so anyadvice would be great. and remember it must be a dell.

Ok I need help disabling SMART it is driving me crazy i have backed up everything on my hard drive and I know it will fail and I cant afford a new one right now so I just want to disable the message until that happens. I cant do it in system BIOS so I dont know how else to do it. PLEASE help me disable it.....

Ok first things first , I am not going to buy an Alienware Laptop.
why? because they are way over priced, your really just buying the name...anyway
i would like the laptop to be able to run several programs at once, Macromedia Flash,Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and the internet.
another thing is im using for my online school because the desktop i have is way outdated and im not going to buy another one because i move around frequently.
i would like the screen to be 15.4 inches or larger
the maximum im able to spend is around $1500 .
another thing
any laptop company ( other then alienware ) will do

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop but was thinking of returning it and buying a HP Pavilion DV2000t instead, because I've heard that Toshiba laptops (while pretty solid for the most part) have horrible battery life. How is the battery life for a HP Pavilion DV2000t? Also, are the HP laptops really as glossy as they look in the ads?

I have a Packard Bell lappie about 3 years old. I have broadband and have the comp on most of the day everyday. Recently the plug socket has been getting burning hot and then after a cpl of minutes it just switches off without any warning. I've heard of fans that can be inserted but i don't know anything about buying or fitting them.

I got a virus the other week, so i tried to backdate my computer, it took ages and i got annoyed, and turned it off. when i turned it back on it went onto the blue screen and said i had problem number "0xc0000142" and a message saying that the system would be shut down. please only answer if you know what you're on about, cos cocky answers are just a waste of time

I have ASUS notebook and Iwant to connect the notebook to the TV. Ihave the cable that connect each other but when I connect and turn the TV to AV mode, there is nothing appear in the TV screen.
