I've checked out all AlanKelly's questions and there is nothing in there that worries me. In fact he seems amazingly normal.

My keyboard only has the % sign on the five key, but if its the € key you are after, then try pressing Alt Gr, on the right of the space bar. If this doesn't work, try going to Insert Symbol on MS Word and looking for it there, then just copy and paste it to where you want it, hope this helps.

Go into "Control Panel" then "Regional and Language Options" Click on "Currency" and you will see the Euro symbol. Unfortunately you have to do this every time you want to use it as the Americans have not caught up with reality yet!

That's because it is still new. If you must use it, you could try 'ASCII'. If you want the n with the ~ on it, you have to press shift and a series of numbers. On google if you type ASCII codes or chart, it'll show you. Also, I suggest downloading language tools. On the right bottom corner, you will see a little box that says EN on it. Not in the same box as your time thing, next to it. Click on it and put Italian, French or someother European country apart from England (theirs is different!) and if you don't have one, download it. Click that, then click 'show the language bar' and then well... pretty straight forward from there! Good luck!!! Oh, and if none of that works, just go on CNN or something and copy/paste it from there. Better yet, BBC (england one, it has loads of european stuff... italian too! Go Italy! :D)

no matter whatever computer brand you are using, any regional settings, you can get Euro symbol by pressing ALT+0128 (€). Thats an ASCII code understood by all the computers in the world

On my keyboard the € is in the top row of numbers on the 4 key.

Hit these three keys together ctrl +alt +4
or...just the alt gr and 4 keys (UK keyboard)

You have to go to insert and then symbols on word. If you are using it in yahoo answers you will have to cut and paste it.
Alternatively I think you can do it by changing your keyboard to European formate

See where your numbers are on the right hand side of your keyboard? Just above the word "Num" is a € sign, hit it and away you go. €€€€€€€€€€

If not, go to your fonts folder and you will find it in there.
