LOL, that's kinda like "what's the best Hyundai". Go with Dell or IBM if you want the best.

Hi! I know how HP manufactures there laptop and the oem suppliers for their components like optical drives, TFT, peripherals and one thing I've noticed that if they have a defective batch it takes them a long time to resolve it. They have poor quality control unlike Dell. Dell have constant testing even during assembly and once they find a small defect they pull out the whole batch and replaces them. They have a strict Q & A. I've been using HP for a long time and I will spare you of all my troubles and poor service from HP and when I shift to DELL all my problems never came back. Good luck.

well it really depends on what you want a laptop for. if you want it for entertainment, or if you want it for buisness, they both take different things to help it work to its fullest
