what sort of lap top can run a car amp/ stereo/ dvd/ nav what sort of money are you looking at. anything will help me. thankyou

why not just get an in-dash nav unit will do all of the above and is made for it...just a suggestion installation will be alot neater and probably will just perform better all around...decent in dash deck will run anywhere from $800- and up I'd reccomend alpine they have some nice indash nav units for around $1200

It's not so much the laptop, but the software you will need to run these things. That's your starting point. Good Luck :-)
