The program is named EZ-dub, for burning cd's. It was already installed when my pc was purchased. It is in my desktop files but not accessible.This a Laptop(dell)computer that I am asking about.

While trying to turn on my laptop today, there seems to be a problem with it. First off my laptop just keeps turning on for 5-10 seconds, turn off and repeats. I dont know how to fix this but if anyone has a solution to this problem please help me and thanks.

I am in outside sales. I provide printed estimates from a printer that sits in my backseat. I want to mount my lap top similar to that of a police cruiser. No, I am not a wanna be or impersonator. I only use it while sitting outside my customers home and from the drivers seat that is still a cumbersome activity.

Are the non-widescreens still being made by anyone? I dislike the new wide-screen notebooks. Is everyone using their notebooks to watch movies now? I don't even know what a non-widescreen is called.

Please under $600. I prefer Windows, not Apple. I prefer a smaller screen. And I will be using it only for Microsoft Office things like Powerpoint, Excel and Word, and iTunes. Thanks!

Ok - I want to spend around $800 on a laptop. I will be using it to surf the web, send e-mail, do basic work with Microsoft Office and listen to music. I'm looking for something with an 80 gig hard drive and 512 MB of memory. I know next to nothing about computers. I've heard Dell customer support is a nightmare. All of the local electronics stores (Fry's, Best Buy, Circuit City) have computers in this range but most people online seem to agree that there are better deals on the web. Any ideas?

I want to buy a laptop for college and I'm not sure what I should do. Is it worth spending the extra money and getting a good laptop costing approx. $2000 that it could last the whole 4 years? Or do you think I should I save my money and get a cheap one for < $1000 so that I can replace it sooner with new technology.

The overheating is located in the oposite side of the battery (my left hand)
And the battery icon is always in 0% eventhough is connected to an alectrical outlet. If I disconnect it, the compuer dies.
Please help!!

ok here's the thing
i was on my laptop and i shut it down and u know the option you get that says click here to shut down computer with updating??
thats what i got and i forgot to click it and now when i got back the laptop was updating and i don't know how to get rid of it!
can some one help me please i don't know what to do!

I own a Mac Notebook OS X and Im interested in purchasing a PDA. Im a college student so Im trying get the best value for my money. I would like to be able to transfer music, images, and MS Word documents easily from my Notebook to my PDA and vice versa. I also plan on using internet, instant messaging and downloading data (ringtones) from the internet qiute often. Which PDA would be better for what I am trying to do? Sprint PPC-6700 or Treo 700P? Anyone with knowledge of these phones please help!!! Thanks.... :)

I turned off my computer when it was running abnormally slow, and when i rebooted it, got the "windows did not start successfully" screen. if i choose any of the safe mode options, i get a long list of 100 or so sentences, all something like "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\symstem32\DRIVERS\(all are different).sys, followed by a blue screen that says "The registry cannot load the hive, ect. ect., it is either corrupt, absent, or not writeable". It then dumps the physical memory. If i chose start windows normally, it makes it to the windows loading sreen, then to the blue screen. i have no idea what to do, please help!! it's a toshiba sattelite, if that's important.
