I currently have a four year old DELL desktop computer with the big tower. I'm looking for something more powerful for graphic design capapbilities (no games) but in a laptop. Can anyone recommend a good replacement for the desktop? I'd like to stick with a PC not a MAC and something affordable?

I've decided to buy a laptop and have been lately searching for comments and reviews on the net but most of them are very confusing! Loads say Dell are great but many others say the'r terrible and the Sony reviews I read were all terrible. I know apple are the best but here nobody uses Mac!! many suggested I should buy a fujitsu siemens but the 3 siemens mobiles I bought were disasteous!

What should I get??!!

I have a Dell Inspirion 1100 and I lost the "Q" from they keyboard. Does anyone know if I can buy a replacement or if there places that fix that kind of thing or am I **** outta luck?

Im trying to put an old hard drive out of one computer into a new computer, the old HDD had windows 98SE and the one i am trying to put in has windows XP already loaded on it from before, is there a way to make it work with the computer without having to completely reinstall the O.S.? because i dont have a disc for windows. I can get to where it says a major system change has occured and how i want to boot it up, then it loads a few files and then flickers a blue screen and restarts... i can also get into BIOS if there is a way to set it up from there, thanks!

I think I'm finally going to get a Mac around the time that Leopard comes out, but is it really worth it to pay however much more. I can see that it has a lot of new features like Time Machine and iSight upgrades, but none of my friends have Macs, so the iSight really might not be worth it.

Is Windows NT4.0 automatically detect and install my USB?
I want to change my Windows XP to Windows NT because my laptop was capable only with Windows NT. My laptop was very slow 'cause I've install an OS that not capable for my laptop. So I want to install a right OS.

My laptop was capable for Windows NT and Windows 98.

I also installed Windows 98SE but it can't detect my USB clip drive.

If I change my OS to Windows NT it can now detect and automatically install my USB clip drive?
