i often day dream about it !

i got the last of the xps m140's
then it was gone .. it is a 14.1" model
then enter the xps m1210

(presently, u'll notice a void ... no 14 or 15" models ... 17" & 20")

the xps is a premium range of notebooks

only makes good sense if u opt 4 the win xp media centre 2005 as operating system

grab it !
(make sure it suit's u'r application, cause dedicated graphics is limited to 256 mb, being a small fella)
>> won't recommend 4 hard gaming or graphic design work
if not, go right ahead
neat lil bundle of dynamite
(and ya, a few of them do blow off occassionaly .. lol)

any xps is a class machine, and will do anything you want it to except jerk you off obviously, and don't mind the battery issue like muppet said above, its taken care of by dell and any new models will have it sorted, for the record its not the model you look for its the battery serial no. i've had to check 4 of mine and thankfully they are ok!!

It depends on your application. If you want to use word processor or Office applications, the basic specs is the the best option. If you have enough budget, get the latest model.
