NO it will not hurt it. Most user guides will tell you to remove the battery if it will be running on AC power for long periods of time. I myself only put the battery in when I will be without a plug in or I am recharging the battery.

It relies upon on the type of your pc and the beneficial factors that incorporate it. There are actually fashions of laptops that incorporate capability-saving beneficial factors. Mac chargers, case in point, can discover whilst they are plugged in and turn off immediately whilst the pc isn't in use. a minimum of that's what i've got heard. concerning what you're attempting to do, i might propose you do away with the battery (if it incredibly is detachable) once you are going to apply your pc for 8 at present hours. preserving it plugged in for that long will at last harm the two the battery or the charger. i comprehend by way of fact i've got experienced that with 2 of my previous laptops. wish this helps.

Your laptop will work just fine without batteries. I wouldn't worry too much about your laptop catching fire though. It isn't as common as you think.

You should definitely use the power cord whenever possible though. This postpones the time it will take before you have to replace your battery.

no.. it's actually really good for the laptop.. by leaving the battery in all the time it teaches the computer (and the battery) that it takes that long to recharge the battery... and that sucks to have to wait... so by giving your computer a battery break, you are doing your computer a good thing...
