I have a fairly new computer and everything was working great until about a month ago my mouse stopped working. I thought It was just my mouse so I bought another one. The new mouse worked for about 2 minuetes and then nothing. I then bought a third mouse this time a usb connection wireless and it didn't work at all. I am going back to college soon and need my PC back....Someone please help???

I have a computer that does not have an operating system. Nor does it have any internal cd or dvd drive. The only thing it has is a floppy drive. Can I install an operating system if I add an external cdrw drive?

I just bought a camera device, I have succesfully installed it, but when I connect the USB cable to the camera device I get the following message:

USB device not recognized
one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click on this message.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

i had no trouble with my earlier wipro UPS.There is a clicking sound after which the pc shutsdown and then restarts.I have a printer & scanner connected to it also.There is no problem with backup,it goes on battery when power fails.Anyone with a similar problem.

My business technology teacher wants to set up firewire in her room, but doesn't want to have to install 40 firewire cards on her computers..... She is wanting to know a way to hook a hub(or something else external) up by firewire to video cameras, and the out on the hub being USB 2.0 to a server/large hard drive. How can she do this??

why is this happens, when i connect my mp3 player in an internet cafe then go to my computer i see the removable disk (G:) there, but in my pc at home is it does'nt have (G:) why s this happens, and what will i do to have removable disk (G:) ??

hi, thanks for replying.I installed the disc i got with the webcam.then i rebooted and put the usb cable in.then it said it couldnt locate a certain drive.in the booklet it said you might need your original windows disc.if id known this i wouldnt have bought it.thought it would be simple.is there anything else i can do? thanks

I bought this webcam today with driver disc.im not clued up on this stuff but i installed it according to instructions.then it said i needed the original windows disc of my pc.i dont have this as the pc is second-hand.is there anything i can do without this disc or will i take this pile of junk back to the shop?

I am looking into buying a cordless keyboard and mouse!! Some packages I looked at it says "requires 4 AA batteries". Others don't mention anything about batteries. My question is do all cordless keyboards and mouse require batteries or are there some that don't need them, as I would prefer not to have to use batteries.

I have a USB thumbdrive that supports private & public partitions. With their software itself I removed the private partition and so it now has only public partition. When I clicked on My Computer > Manage > Disk Management, I noted that my USB drive actually had 856mb (as usable, allocated) and about 121mb marked as unallocated. Is there a way to utilize this unallocated space also so that I can have nearly 971mb. When I right click on the "unallocated partition" the option "Create new partition" is disabled. Could you please help me utilize this unallocated partition? Do you know of any software that would help?
