mikomi m6225 webcam-can you help?

I bought this webcam today with driver disc.im not clued up on this stuff but i installed it according to instructions.then it said i needed the original windows disc of my pc.i dont have this as the pc is second-hand.is there anything i can do without this disc or will i take this pile of junk back to the shop?

you need the xp cd to complete the driver installation.

Hi. Did you run the driver disk first? If not the Windows is looking for the disk to load a generic driver. Uninstall the webcam, run the CD with the driver, then reboot. This may fix it.
